The two companies, promoters of Made in Italy in the world, renew the bond that already united them, strengthening it towards new challenges and goals to be achieved together.
The partnership that began years ago will continue for the 2024, 2025 and 2026 seasons. Over time, BMC has been committed to supporting the House of Sant'Agata Bolognese by supplying OEM products and complete intake kits for both road and GT race cars.
The collaboration between Lamborghini and BMC began more than ten years ago, when the two Emilian companies worked together on the Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo project. From there, the partnership grew, leading the two companies to forge an increasingly solid relationship.
From that bond came the kits for the Huracan GT3, the Huracan Super Trofeo and the Essenza, a special customer programme in which car owners can drive vehicles designed on Hypercar regulations, which provide unique thrills and excitement.
Now the challenge goes even further. The Lamborghini Super Trofeo project, a championship of which BMC is an official sponsor, will be joined from this season by the LMDh project. The SC63 that competes in the WEC (FIA World Endurance Championship) and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship (American endurance championship) will be equipped with BMC products, which will guarantee the Lamborghini prototype, run by the Cesena-based Iron Lynx team, high levels of performance.
The LMDh project is only at its beginning, but BMC Air Filters couldn't be prouder to be part of it, supporting a customer with whom there has been a decade-long relationship of trust and mutual esteem.
The goal is to aim high and step by step grow with a solid and concrete path. The ambition is high, but with the know-how inherited from great experience in the racing world, BMC could not back down from such an important challenge; alongside a historical partner like Lamborghini, excellence of our territory.
