The Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe stopped at Spa Francorchamps for the second round of the championship. On the Belgian track Mattia Michelotto and Gilles Stadsbader of Vincenzo Sospiri Racing took the win in Race 1 and Cedric Wauters with the Totaalplan Racing team in Race 2 in the wet.
The Pro Cup featured the Italian Motor Valley VSR team from Forlì. The two drivers in the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO 2 first took pole position on Friday in the first qualifying session and then brought home the victory on the historic Ardennes track. Michelotto, the first to take the wheel of the #6 Lamborghini, got off to a good start and held the lead without any problems. The Italian driver set a very fast pace, opening up a gap to his pursuers of around seven seconds, and this then allowed him to make the stop in peace. Stadsbader took over in the VSR car and returned to the track ahead of everyone, a position he then held until the end of the race, despite a 1.2-second penalty for a pit stop irregularity. It was a victory of strength that confirmed what was demonstrated at Paul Ricard in the opening round and allowed the crew and the team to also take the lead in the championship standings. Leipert Motorsport's Brendon Leitch took second place with a fine fight, consummated at the restart after the entry of the Safety Car, against Boutsen VDS Racing Team's A. Eteki. The #12 Lamborghini had finished second, but was relegated to nineteenth position due to a pit stop penalty. On the third step of the podium were then R. Testa and U. De Wilde, bearers of Iron Lynx.
Again the Italian team, from Cesena, took centre stage in the Pro-Am class. Yelmer Buurman and Nigel Schoonderwoerd won the first of the two scheduled races, finishing 10th overall. Completing the podium were A. Au and F. Schandorff of Target Racing, in the #81 car, and E. Maloigne together with S. Guerin of Arkadia Racing, who finished third. In the Am category triumphed G. Rindone of Leipert Motorsport triumphed at the wheel of the #21 Huracán, while in the Lamborghini Cup category P. Biglieri and P. Matic in the colours of Bonaldi Motorsport won.
Race 2 was affected by bad weather. The rain that began to fall shortly before the start increased as the minutes passed, preventing the race from running smoothly. Cedric Wauters started from pole position in the #23 Lamborghini ahead of Leitch and the pair of M.Ryba and E.Liberati of the Brutal Fish Racing Team, Pro-Am category.
Starting behind the Safety Car, the drivers completed four complete laps of the track as the rain continued to increase. After that the red flag was shown to end the race and everyone was awarded half points. The positions remained unchanged except for a few stops due to technical problems or accidents caused by the track conditions. The race was therefore won by Wauters in the Pro Cup. Victory in the Pro-Am went to Ryba and Liberati, that of the Am to Rindone who repeated the success already achieved in Race 1 and finally in the Lamborghini Cup triumphed the father and son crew of Privitielo.
